Who We Are
Most design is made for most people. We think it should work for everyone.
Jackie and Jasper are partners in life as well as in work. Together they have two children — one of whom has complex medical needs and lives with disability. Loving and caring for someone the world wasn’t built for changes how you see everything.
How We
Got Here
The world isn’t designed to include everyone. That’s not inevitable — it’s a problem that can be solved through better design, clearer communication, and stories that bring people in rather than shut them out. That belief is what drives The Toy Cartel.
Jackie and Jasper are on a mission to build a more accessible and inclusive world — not just for their family, but for all of us. They know that when you design for the people most often overlooked, you make things better for everybody.
We partner with purpose-driven organisations who want to reach more people and create more positive experiences. We work alongside them, share everything we learn, and help build the awareness and understanding that turns good intentions into real change.
Two founders.
One shared mission.
Jackie brings the design craft and creative direction. Jasper brings the product strategy and systems thinking. Together they’ve spent years closing the gap between good intentions and accessible outcomes.

Design Director
Jackie Streit
Design Director
Jackie has spent more than twenty years in design, starting in print — building brands and telling stories across everything from small ads to large-scale campaigns. That breadth gave her a strong technical foundation and a clear sense of how design lands in the real world.
Her work took a new direction when her second child was born with a rare neurodevelopmental condition. Caring for a child who experiences the world differently reshaped how she sees design — and what it should do.
For the past decade, Jackie has focused on not-for-profits, schools, and government — organisations with a genuine need to reach people often overlooked. She builds meaningful brands, designs information people can actually understand, and creates work that includes rather than excludes. She’s drawn to the harder questions: how do you reach someone who’s been left out before? How do you build something everyone feels welcome in?
For Jackie, inclusive and human-centred design isn’t a method — it’s the foundation. Every brief starts with people. Done well, she believes design reaches further, connects more deeply, and changes lives.

Product Director
Jasper Streit
Product Director
Jasper brings 15+ years of product and AI experience, from early-stage ventures to some of Australia’s largest digital organisations. He’s led large-scale product and design teams, built AI-driven platforms that delivered measurable outcomes, and worked in complex environments where clarity and momentum are hard to maintain.
He works across a mix of clients — founders building from scratch, enterprises navigating transformation, and not-for-profits needing strong product thinking without the overhead. The common thread: helping teams build things that actually work for the people they serve.
Jasper has been working with AI and machine learning since 2018 and has shipped production systems himself. Alongside client work, he builds products like EPCheck (supporting epilepsy-affected families), MorningBoard (a neuroaffirming planning tool), and CultureVulture (a community events platform) — because when gaps exist, he’d rather build than wait.
Accessibility is personal. His daughter has multiple disabilities and complex needs, and that proximity shapes how he thinks about product. It’s not an edge case. It’s the point.
At TTC, Jasper leads product strategy and AI advisory — helping clients decide what to build, how to build it accessibly, and how to involve the right people from the start.

Our Values
Five things that shape how we work — and who we are.
Humble
We don’t assume, we listen. We come to every conversation ready to learn. No ego, no presuming we already know the answer. The communities we work with have expertise we don’t — our job is to make space for it.
Friendly and non-judgmental
No organisation is too behind to start. Wherever you’re starting from, we meet you there. Accessibility can feel overwhelming — our job is to make the path clear and the conversation easy.
Professional
Rigorous, evidence-based, outcomes-focused. Good intentions aren’t enough. We bring evidence and rigour — so that good design actually ships and makes a difference in people’s lives.
Championing change
We don’t just design for communities — we stand up for them. We advocate for the people we design with. The people most often overlooked deserve to be centred, not consulted as an afterthought.
Purpose-driven
Every project connects back to real human impact. Compliance is a floor, not a ceiling. Every brief we take on connects back to real people and real change — not just a tick in a box.
Our Purpose
What we’re actually trying to change.
“A world where accessibility and universal design are at the forefront of everything — not an afterthought or a compliance exercise. Where businesses understand that designing for accessibility creates better products for EVERYONE (the curb cut effect), extends their reach, builds deeper trust, and creates stickier, more valuable customer relationships. Where ‘nothing about us without us’ is standard practice through co-design, and where small accessible experiences create big ripple effects.”
Not just making things compliant, but transforming how businesses think about and approach accessibility from the ground up. Passing on what we know, with no gatekeeping.
